One by one
Small and large-
Dressed and different,
And almost in charge… Doorbells will ring!
And lights will be on!
Until the sugar is out. . .
And again they’ll be gone… Completely blind
To us out here…
Hiding in the décor
That fantasies our fears. . . Until the day
There is nothing to sneer-
Because they’ll be the ones
Hiding right here… So, we relax!
With nothing to fight. . .
Because we found the joy
Being the fright to their night!
